featured a number of companies showcasing the very latest tools for civil design and visualisation.
This was an ideal opportunity to take a closer look at the latest technologies featured in the main presentations at this event including Autodesk Civil 3D 2008, 3ds Max 2008, and Dynamite VSP V3.5.

Established in 2001, 3am Solutions is a UK based privately owned technology company that develops cutting-edge visualisation
software specifically for the civil engineering industry.
The company's flagship product, Dynamite VSP, is designed specifically to enable civil engineers to produce rich and compelling rendered visualisations of their projects with little prior knowledge of 3D visualisation techniques. Permanent and dynamic links to a wide range of civil design applications allow visualisations to be updated automatically when design changes occur.
Geonius is a civil engineering consultant providing 3D modelling and site engineering services,
and offering unique expertise in the optimisation of the design and construction process of
infrastructure projects.
The company specialises in the production of 3D visualisations, animations, tender and construction quantities and drawings, quality reports, setting-out and machine control data, as-built models and drawings, as-built quantities, cost control, logistics statistics, stock control, supervision of subcontractors, project management, and bespoke software development. Geonius is also a reseller for Dynamite VSP in The Benelux.
