Dynamite SIM

Dynamite SIM is an optional add-on module for Dynamite VSP allowing the import of traffic data from third party applications such as VISSIM.

Dynamite SIM offers the best of three worlds by allowing real time traffic simulation data from third party applications such as VISSIM to be imported into a 3ds max based visualisation and combined with accurate 3D terrain data from a range of civil design applications.

Unique surface tracking functionality ensures that vehicles cling automatically to underlying surface terrain. In conjunction with the automatic re-assignment of vehicle body styles and colours, this means that the population of 3D visualisations with accurate real-world traffic flow data can be achieved in seconds with Dynamite SIM.

Dynamite SIM is suitable for the communication of different scenarios in traffic and public transport projects such as arterial corridor studies, development of freeway management strategies, and traffic calming schemes.

Features and Benefits

  • Integrates seamlessly with Dynamite VSP.
  • Natively supports VISSIM Vehicle Record Output files (*.FZP).
  • Extensive vehicle and step filtering options allow extremely large data files to be dynamically filtered via a range of criteria.
  • Applies automatic transformation to vehicle animation data to ensure accurate match with imported 3D civil terrain data.
  • Automatic surface tracking feature ensures that all vehicles cling to underlying 3d terrain data which can be imported from a range of supported civil design applications such as Bentley MX and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Automatic substitution of vehicle body styles and colours according to vehicle types derived from VISSIM FZP files. Body styles and colours can be assigned randomly for maximum realism.
  • Fully customisable vehicle libraries and automatic material assignment.
  • RPC Enabled.
