Dynamite VSP Version 3.51 | Release Notes

Primary areas of focus in this release include support for Autodesk's 2009 range of products including AutoCAD Civil 3D 2009, Autodesk 3ds Max 2009, and Autodesk 3ds Max Design 2009.

Availability

Dynamite VSP Version 3.51 is available as a downloadable service pack for Dynamite VSP Version 3.1 and Version 3.5. This upgrade is available free to users currently holding valid annual software maintenance contracts for Dynamite VSP.

This service pack may be downloaded from the User Support Centre.

New Features

  • Civil 3D 2008 Compatible Support for 3ds Max 2009 and 3ds Max Design 2009 (32-bit versions only).
  • Support for AutoCAD Civil 3D 2009.
  • Enhancement to hardware footprinting process which allows the end user to select which Network Adapter the DynLM Licence Manager should bind to when generating a licence request file. Prevents laptop based users from encountering licence problems when using removable Network Adapters such as Wireless, VPN, or Bluetooth.
  • Limited support for 64-bit versions of 3ds Max and 3ds Max Design. A 64-bit version of the Dynamite VSP plugins folder is now included in the standard Dynamite VSP installation. Although Dynamite VSP will not currently run in 64-bit versions of 3ds Max and 3ds Max Design, these plugins may be used to allow .max files containing Dynamite VSP content to be opened in 64-bit versions of 3ds Max and 3ds Max Design. This support has been added to allow the rendering of Dynamite VSP based scenes in 64-bit based render farms.
